Dr. Daniel J. Madden (A.K.A Dentist Dan or Dr. Dan) received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Minnesota. He believes in education and technology in dentistry and that this leads to a more comfortable, efficient and pleasurable patient experience. Dr. Madden also understands the mouth body connection and has completed extensive training in whole body nutrition and health through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition receiving his Health Coaching certification. He has expanded his dental and health knowledge with an international approach, practicing side by side with the world's leading surgeons and restorative dentists and health practitioners. He has a special passion for implant dentistry, dynamic surgical navigation, guided implant surgery, Ceramic Implantogy, Biological Dentistry, Platlet-Rich Fibrin , Ozone therapy, third molar surgery, and CAD-CAM Cerec (one visit crown) dentistry.
Dr. Madden has served as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. He currently provides all aspects of surgical and restorative dentistry in Vancouver, WA and Hood River, OR.
Dr. Madden also believes that giving back to the communities he has been involved with is important. He has provided services and volunteered for the under served communities through out the Columbia River Gorge at the local community health center. He has also enjoyed volunteering his time and skills to provide free dental care and therapy for Give Kids a Smile Day, the Union Gospel Dental Mission, the University of Minnesota Gopher football team, and outreach in rural Peru.
In his spare time he enjoys being active in the outdoors exploring, enjoying photography, and spending time with his family and friends. Hobbies include exploring remote surf breaks, snowboarding, riding mountain bikes, and making art.
